TMCP started as a voice memo between two burnt-out creators. Four million downloads later, it's still the conversation we wish we'd had when we started.
We started TMCP because nobody was talking honestly about what it takes to make a living from creative work.
In 2021, Jess and Marcus were both "successful" creators on paper, and both quietly exhausted. They started recording their calls to compare notes on pricing, burnout and what was actually working.
Friends asked for the recordings. Then friends of friends. The Modern Creator Podcast launched in January 2022 with a simple rule: guests share real numbers, real mistakes and real systems, or they don't come on.
Today the show is produced by a team of five, and TMCP Nation is a community of 18,000 creators across 60 countries.
